The scent of tallow alone is typically described as creamy, nutty, or slightly milky, when of pure quality.

When mixed with a range of botanicals, plant oils and essential oils, you can expect the scent to reflect these ingredients as they will often overpower the mild aroma of the tallow.

Beef tallow typically ranks between 1 and 2 on the comedogenic scale, which means it’s considered low risk for clogging pores, especially when it’s grass-fed, minimally processed, and blended with non-irritating botanicals.

Unlike many other natural skincare brands, Element Organics pay close attention to the comedogenic rating of the oils we incorporate into or face care products as well. All of our skin loving oils and ingredients rate LOW on the comedogenic scale with scores of 0-1 making them ideal for those with reactive skin.
